Redeem Codes:
- FOGDENGAME
- EYEOFDELUSION
- SUMMERTIME
- ZANKOU0819
We are returning to the main story arc this patch and getting to see the conclusion of the first major arc. Yay!
They go over a recap of the main story.
Return of Chaos, Thyme, and more of the Eibon Crew! We also see some new characters.
We’re seeing some cutscenes with Linko, Nitsa, and Madam T.
New Location: Fogden
The new zone where a lot of the story for 1.3 will be taking place, it has some interesting scenery.
Zankou

- There has been another redesign for Zankou that ditches the eye patch. Her lore revolves around stealing people’s faces and copying their identities, so we’ll likely only see her main look in the story. Even though she is a playable villain, they hint that she won’t stay this way.
- Zankou’s trailer goes into a little bit of her backstory and shows us a bit of her Esper Ability, “Eye of Delusion,” which dwells within her right eye.
- She is an Incantation character with the Gas Arc type.
- She has two states: Reality and Illusion. She can switch between the two states by using her Redirect Skill.
- While in the Reality state, she has a regular five-string basic attack and a heavy attack. She also passively carries “The Hunt” buff, which boosts her damage dealt.
- While in the Illusion state, she has a four-string basic attack and a hold basic attack. She can also spread DoTs to other targets in range. In this state, she boosts the Crit Damage of DoTs.
- There is a timer for Illusion mode, and everything she does counts as follow-up attacks. There is also an increase to DoT damage. It is possible for her to have her Crit Damage buff and damage boost buffs at the same time.
- Her dodge counter deals additional Break damage.
- Her Ultimate, Inferno Flamenco, has two presses. She gains a special version of it if you time her Redirect Skill with her Illusion state, meaning she will want to be on field for a specific amount of time.
- Her Scorch is stackable (RIP Baicang?), and has a special interaction with DoTs.
- They further NTR Baicang by using her with Lacrimosa. (You can keep this if you want to lol.)
- Her open-world trait turns her invisible and undetectable by enemies, including in Pink Paws Heist.
Interactions
- After the Scarlet Letter incident, Zankou loses her “freedom.”
- Zankou’s Phantom can appear at our side, meaning that we seemingly do not hang out with the real Zankou. The way she acts is different from the real Zankou.
- The real Zankou is not available, and she won’t have all of her interactions as of 1.3. You also won’t run into her in the city. However, she will still have Bond interactions with her Phantom.
- You can still give her gifts and ride along with her. You can also challenge Zankou’s Phantom to a duel and learn her moveset.

Linko

- She works for the BAC and handles hunting down criminals and [something about finding anomalies].
- She comes with her ghost friend, Xiaozhen, whom she sometimes refers to as a pet.
- Linko is an Anima character with a Plasma Arc type. She can sync up with the “frequency” of everything.
- She can sync with Xiaozhen to FLYYYYY. MOVEMENT POWERCREEEP. It looks kind of like a slingshot-type mechanic where you glide after slinging out.
- She can perform a Synced Strike with Xiaozhen or one of her teammates.
- She comes with a unique menu called the Radial Menu, which allows you to select her teammates.
- She has a Modulation gauge that builds up by attacking enemies.
- Linko can apply a mark to enemies, and when any ally hits an enemy with the mark, she will deal a Synced Strike.
- Her Redirect Skill allows you to pick a specific teammate to perform a Synced Strike with. Any Modulation you have will be consumed to perform this.
- Her Ultimate, Oversync, pushes her into overdrive. She can sync with up to three teammates at once, dealing a bonus burst of AoE damage at the end. The damage dealt increases when enemies have more debuffs on them. During this window, any damage from teammates’ Support Skills counts as Follow-Up Attack damage.
- Linko has a Hexed passive, just as we suspected, making it the first of its kind! Targets under Hexed take increased Follow-Up Attack damage.
- Linko’s Move In and Ride Along will both become available in this update.
- A very cute alt for Linko with a new hairstyle! Look at that tied-up knot hair.
- A cute astronaut skin and an arcade game-based skin are also shown.
Banners & Reruns

Nanally will rerun with Zankou’s banner. August 19th – September 9th

Hotori will rerun with Linko’s banner. September 9th – September 30th
Zankous Arc: Ravenous Blade

Linkos Arc: Voice of the Voyager.

New Location: Duskmoor

It almost gives off a forest campsite vibe in terms of the environment, with dense trees that make you feel like you’re out in the wild.
It was under construction when we first arrived in the city, and it’s now ready to open its doors. The district is massive and has a long highway loop, so you can take a long drive and take in the mountain scenery. It’s an area designed just for driving, and you can even collect Oracle Stones simply by driving. You don’t even have to get out of your vehicle.

This place is a real test of driving skills. It also has all-new race courses that players can take on as a challenge!
The new area also has a proper beach!

NEW ACTIVITY: VOLLEY STAR

A new permanent city activity.
This is a weekly volleyball tournament where you can earn more Fons and compete for the finals. One loss will knock you out, and your performance will determine your Fon payout. Playing in both the Rookie Series and Weekly Matches will cost City Stamina.
Volleyball Tournament

Play volleyball at the beach and battle through the locals to win the Volleyball Tournament. The mode is PvE and uses a 2v2 format.
Each character has their own strengths and weaknesses. You pick one character to control, while an AI-controlled character plays alongside you.
Every character has five stats that can be developed:
- Spike
- Set
- Receive
- Block
- Dig
You can use Talent Bread to boost the stats of your choice and push a character beyond their normal growth cap.
There are also City Volleyball Rankings. Keep playing, winning matches, and climbing the rankings!
Shipwreck Salvage

Jet skis are here! Aim your harpoon and land your shots to retrieve cargo from shipwrecks. Gather the cargo, bring it back to shore, and get paid.
Your fuel is limited, and only the cargo you successfully bring back to shore will be converted into rewards, so keep an eye on that fuel gauge.
You can also upgrade your jet ski to improve its performance.
Surf Breaker

Head to the Jet Ski Racing event page to browse the available routes, then talk to the NPC there to start racing!
The event will track which routes are currently open. There are multiple difficulty levels, and you can claim rewards by completing them. Chase those record times!
First Water Vehicle: The Tide

The Tide is a red jet ski that can jump over obstacles. Unfortunately, it’s another Mystery Box set. 🙁
The Mystery Box includes summer outfits for Appraiser, Mint, and Nanally, along with the Tide jet ski itself.
New Vehicle: Sirocco

The Sirocco is a dune buggy designed for off-roading. You can also hit other players with it and send them flying!
It’s available as a direct Fon purchase.
New Bike: Yesteryear

The Yesteryear lets you ride tandem with your favorite characters and take them wherever they need to go.
It isn’t the fastest mount, but it allows for some fun interactions with your teammates.
It is also the bike that is going to be used alongside the Breezy Tour event.
New Property: Stillmeadow House

A non-mansion house. WOOOOOOOOOOO!
Finally, a normal, aesthetically pleasing house that we can actually decorate.
There’s also a plot of farmland where you can plant seeds and harvest crops. The harvested crops can be sold for City Stamina to gain Fons, similar to Fishing.
We’re gonna be Fonsless this patch.
Brick by Brick
You can help with construction projects and even operate vehicles like dump trucks, forklifts, and more.
Pick up materials, help with digging, and take part in various construction activities.
This is a new addition to Heteraue Hobbies to spend your weekly Fons.
Limited-Time Event: Runaway Echoes

A horde of monsters will come rushing at you from every direction. Think HoloCure or Vampire Survivors.
You can choose random upgrades, buff your characters, and build up your team as you fight. The card pool is huge, making this a roguelite-style game mode.
The devs also confirmed that Chaos isn’t as hot as Male MC. W
More Updates to 999 Nights
999 is getting even more updates, including a new tower-style mode where you climb through increasingly difficult floors.
Defeat an enemy and move on to the next floor. There will also be an infinite mode for those who want to see how far they can go.
The standard tower has 99 floors, and the devs are interested in seeing how far players can make it in the infinite mode.

Mew’s Flash

Quality of Life
Visual Improvements
