Ash Echoes CN – Echomancer Preview: Lynn
While the Fire element is already known for having a solid frontline, this newcomer Vanguard doubles-down on that concept. With quick melee blows that can reach a wide area and the versatility of switching between defensive and offensive modes, Lynn breathes new life to the Fire Team.

Combat Traits – Ouroboros
Lynn starts in [Defense], which increases his own Basic DR and causes enemies to take more damage for a period of time after getting hit by his basic attack. After switching to [Attack] or leaving, this effect ends. Lynn can enter [Attack] through his active skill [Swallowing Calamity].
Swallowing Calamity (Active Skill)
Lynn melds flames into a pair of katars and enters [Attack] for a set amount of time. This state increases Lynn’s Crit Rate and Max HP and enables his basic ATKs to trigger [Meltdown]. After Lynn enters [Attack], he cannot re-enter [Attack] for a set amount of time. If Lynn’s HP drops below a certain amount due to enemy DMG while in [Attack], he will exit [Attack] early and recover HP up to the amount he had when he entered [Attack].
[Meltdown]: Performing a basic ATK depletes a portion of Lynn’s HP to deal Fire DMG in an area around the target. If HP is below a certain amount, this does not deplete HP. This effect can be triggered up to a certain number of times.
Buried in Ashes (Active Skill)
[Defense] Auto Skill: When Lynn is in [Defense], he will gain 1 stack of [Inferno] every set amount of time and 1 stack of [Inferno] when he takes direct DMG (this effect has a cooldown). Lynn consumes a set number of [Inferno] stacks to perform an auto skill, dealing Fire DMG to enemies in a fan shape, taunting nearby enemies, and increasing all allies’ Crit Rate for a set period of time. After switching to [Attack] or leaving battle, this effect ends. [Attack] Auto Skill: When Lynn is in [Attack], this passive does not activate. When [Attack] ends, Lynn deals Fire DMG to enemies in a fan shape—this damage increases for every [Meltdown] triggered while in [Attack].
[Defense] Active Skill: Can be cast when Lynn is in [Defense]. Rapidly attacks the enemies’ weak points, dealing Fire DMG and decreasing the target’s Fire RES for a set amount of time.
After switching to [Attack] or leaving battle, this effect ends.
[Attack] Active Skill: Can be cast when Lynn is in [Attack]. Gathers flames and deals Fire DMG to enemies in a fan-shaped area.
Soul Split (Seed Skill)
Lynn launches a vicious offensive, dealing Fire DMG to the 3 main targets in the area and dealing an instance of Fire DMG to the wider area. Leaves a Fire Zone in the center smaller Fire Zones randomly around the area.

Trace Awakening Skill: “Both Offense and Defense”
For every 100 points of Engraving DEF, Engraving ATK increases by a certain amount. When Echomancers’ HP drops below a certain amount, they gain a shield based on their Max HP; this effect has a cooldown.
