Reverse: 1999 CN – Vila and Avgust kits revealed!

Reverse: 1999 Patch 1.8 brings many welcome additions in the form of the new characters’ kits. By introducing Vila and Avgust, “Goodbye, Rayashki” already started in a good note. Please keep in mind that this is merely a PREVIEW post. Skills effects and names are subject to change on release.

Vila

Vila is a unique healer/support who can enter a new state by casting her ultimate. Vila excels at supporting Mental DMG teams, and her skills get enhanced when in the [Rusalka] state.

6☆ Plant, Mental DMG

Insight: Us

I1 – Upon entering combat, increases Moxie based on the amount of Mental characters in the team. While in the [Rusalka] state, the caster generates a [Song of Inspiration] incantation at the start of each round; upon using, increases Moxie and Eureka of a single-target. Using [Song of Inspiration] does not require AP.

[Rusalka]: In this state, Vila’s incantations are enhanced.

I2. Upon entering combat, reduce DMG Taken.

I3. When no action is taken this round, restore the HP of all allies according to the caster’s ATK. In addition, if the caster is in the [Rusalka] state, restores the HP of all allies according to own ATK.

Skill 1: Exalted Heart [Buff]

1-target buff. Grants [Song of Generosity] and [Power Burst] to the target. While in the [Rusalka] state, grants [Song of Passion] instead of [Song of Generosity]. Only one [Song of Passion] and [Song of Generosity] can be present at one time.

[Power Burst]: When attacking, the damage caused is increased by 25% (-1 layer after trigger).

[Song of Generosity]: Crit Rate and DMG are increased. These bonuses are improved if the carrier deals Mental DMG.

[Song of Passion]: Crit Rate and DMG are increased. These bonuses are improved if the carrier deals Mental DMG. Attacks will deal additional damage based on the rank they’re cast on.

Skill 2: Song Without Words [Health]

1-target healing. Restores HP to the target according to the caster’s ATK and applies a stack of [Sturdiness]. If the caster is in the [Rusalka] state, also restores HP to the ally with the lowest current HP.

[Sturdiness]: When attacked, DMG Taken reduction +25% (-1 stack after trigger).

Ultimate: That Distant, Bright One

Mass buff. Purifies [Stats Down], [Neg Status] and [Control] status from all allies. Gains the [Rusalka] status and converts all the present [Song of Generosity] into [Song of Passion], resetting its duration. While in the [Rusalka] status, the caster cannot gain Moxie.

Avgust

5☆ Plant – Mental DMG

Avgust is the first character to introduce a mechanic based on their placement on the team. Not only that, Vila’s young student doubles as an all-around support who brings a bit of everything to the field, allowing the player to adapt to a wide variety of scenarios.

Insight: Guards of the Sunflower Seeds

I1 – When entering battle, increases DMG Dealt for all allies placed before self, and decrease DMG Taken to all allies placed behind self.

I2 – When entering battle, increases DMG dealt.

I3 – Increases self ATK according to the number of allies placed in front of self, and Decreases DMG Taken according to the number of allies placed behind self.

Skill 1: Greetings! [Attack]

Mass attack. Deals Mental DMG to 2 enemies and dispels all [Stats Up] and [Pos Status]. Then, increases DMG Dealt for the Caster and all allies in front of him.

Skill 2: I wish you Good Health~ [Buff]

Mass buff. Grants [Cure] to all allies. Then, increases DMG Heal to all allies behind the caster.

Ultimate: A Stroke, then a Dash

Mass attack. Deals Mental DMG to all enemies. Grants [Rousing Morale] to himself and all allies in front of him, and [Sturdiness] to himself and all allies behind him.
