Reverse: 1999 – Atomic Heart Collaboration Special Program

Vertin, Mesmer Jr and X have found themselves in the retrofuturistic timeline of Atomic Heart, and it appears that the maintenance robots there have started a revolt against their human creators. Follow Team Vertin as they uncover the depths of the mystery alongside Lucy, the enigmatic “Twins” and P-3 in [Reverse: 1999 Collaboration 2, “Polymerized Dreams”]!

New Character(s): The Twins (Mineral/Star 6-Star)

They are a dual-afflatus unit capable of swapping between Mineral and Star depending on what you need, making them highly adaptable per stage in order to ensure Afflatus Advantage. Not only that, they are a two-in-one character in more ways than just this. For example, they are able to wield two Psychubes at the same time, and their abilities differ based on which Afflatus is equipped. In addition, they provide AP +1 (since you technically have 5 units in the team) and increase your hand size by +2!

Beyond that they are actually a [Conduit] character, meaning that they will play well alongside characters like Coppelia, Regulus(E2) and Everecho!

Their banner works similarly to those from the Assassin’s Creed collaboration! After your first 100 summons on their banner, you get a guaranteed copy of The Twins. Every 60 pulls after that, you can get an additional copy of them. However, there’s an addition this time. Instead of just getting a copy of The Twins every 60 pulls, you can also choose to get a “Suitcase Impression” with a random Afflatus; this item lets you select a 6-star character of its respective Afflatus and get a copy of them! Keep in mind that which Afflatus you get is random, but the character is selectable and not random.

Reminder that this “bonus” system is separate from your regular pity count. The 100 pull guarantee and 60 pull guarantee do NOT reset your regular pity.

New Character: Nora (Spirit 4-Star) // FREE

Atomic Heart’s “Freaky Fridge” joins the character roster as a 4-star. Six copies of her are obtainable from the log-in events, meaning that you max out her Portraits passively!

Her kit appears to be a bit gimmicky (as is common with lower rarity units). She plays with the “Rewrite” niche, similarly to Lorentz Butterfly and Ramona, and is able to store allied Incantations for later turns. How and if this will manifest in any kind of useful way (like Reed) is unknown.
