Greetings, Swordbringers!
This is the Lost Sword Development Team.
Before we share the upcoming Developer’s Note, we would first like to sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience we have caused due to our shortcomings. We have carefully reviewed every concern and criticism voiced by our Swordbringers, without taking any of them lightly.
Based on the feedback you have shared, we will continue striving for steady improvements, and we promise to show you a more refined and improved Lost Sword. Moving forward, we will listen more closely and act with greater care to ensure that the changes we make always enhance your enjoyment of the game.
Now, let us share details of the October Developer’s Note.
(Due to art resource preparations, this month’s Developer’s Note will be released in two parts, with the second part scheduled for the third week of October.)

New Character: Cowqueen, Belsey

Once, there was one the people called a hero.
She revealed neither her face nor her name,
bowed to no master, obeyed no command—
yet she protected countless lives,
and walked the path of justice.
But one day, she failed.
Amid a village drowned in runaway magic,
she reached for a child engulfed in the chaos.
Before her hand could touch—
the child was gone.
From that moment, she vanished.
No longer in the people’s sight,
she wandered into silence,
living as though the world had lost its meaning.
In that solitude, one day, she found another.
A beastfolk girl, little more than rags to cover her,
with ears and a tail of a cow—
a race despised, dismissed as less than nothing.
She had collapsed, starved and weak.
The hero, unable to turn away,
shared what little she had—food, shelter, care.
And from that kindness bloomed a fragile bond.
The beastfolk’s smile, simple and radiant,
chipped away the frost that had long bound the hero’s face.
Was it fate?
Together, they fled to the continent’s edge,
to a quiet, empty island.
There they built a village—
a place where beastfolk could live without chains.
And in time,
the world came to call that place “Beastrian.”
Ta-da! That’s the history of Beastrian Island!
With a bright grin, the storyteller finished.
She was the queen of Beastrian,
the descendant of that very beastfolk—Belsey.
Across Britannia she roamed,
hoping to spread her homeland’s name once more.
And then, she met the one called the Swordbringer.
Perhaps, she thought,
this person was another like that ancient hero—
someone who could change the fate of many.
After watching quietly, she stepped forward.
Please raise us! Come with me to Beastrian—it’s a joyful place!
When he hesitated,
she swung up her great axe with a teasing smile.
Uh… if you refuse… I’ll just take you by force!
And so it was,
from that day forth,
that Cowqueen Belsey trod at his side,
cheerful and unyielding,
dreaming always of the day
she would bring him, at last,
to her beloved Beastrian Isle.
Belsey, the Cowqueen, is a Front-position, Fire-element Knight.
With overwhelming strength and a massive axe, she shatters enemy armor,
lowering their defenses and increasing the damage they take.
And of course… the stun is just a bonus!

🐄🐇Cowbunny…?

Since no ordinary costume could outshine Belsey’s default look,
we’ve prepared the Reverse Bunny Costume instead!
Get ready to experience Belsey’s bolder, more daring allure!
🩲More Costume Variety
Currently, the available costume types are Bikinis and Bunny Girls.
Going forward, we plan to expand costume variety by introducing Lingerie and Casual Wear.
Based on Lost Sword’s core theme of “sexy,” we are preparing to showcase an even wider range of costumes.

⚔️Colosseum Rework Direction
In our previous Developer’s Note, we announced sudden changes to the Colosseum, which raised many concerns among Swordbringers.
Based on the valuable feedback you’ve shared, we are revisiting the system and readjusting its direction.
Once the development plan is finalized, we will return with a detailed explanation in a future Developer’s Note, along with improvements that we hope will bring greater satisfaction.
🎯 Training Dummy Content
You will soon be able to enter a “Free Damage Mode” by interacting with the training dummy in town.
- You can select one of the 7 attributes for the dummy.
- Battle durations can be set to 30s, 60s, or 90s.
- The dummy will not attack, and once the timer ends, a result screen will display your total score, similar to a Boss Raid.
This new feature is scheduled to be added in October.
💖 Affection Level Expansion
The maximum Affection Level for characters will be increased to 20.
We are also preparing new Affection Episodes for ★3–★4 characters as quickly as possible.
📅 Development Plans for 2025
We’ve also received requests from Swordbringers for a clearer update roadmap. While details may still change as development progresses, here is what we are aiming for at this time:

We are also preparing a Q&A session to hear more of our Swordbringers’ valuable feedback.
In addition, the first collaboration IP for Lost Sword is currently in the works.
Details regarding the collaboration will be shared as soon as possible, once agreements with the rights holder are finalized.

We once again acknowledge the disappointment caused by our lack of content and will do our utmost to repay your support with meaningful improvements.
