Lost Sword Developer Note – Lohengrin
As the summer heat rolls in, we’d like to thank you for your continued support of Lost Sword.
In today’s Developer Note, we’re excited to introduce the new character Lohengrin, along with several quality-of-life improvements and upcoming content.
🦢 New Character: Lohengrin

In the eastern reaches of Britannia lies a small village called Brabant.
To others, it may have seemed like a place of no worth—
But to Zion, it was everything.
She loved the life she had there.
Family dinners made with the game her father brought home.
Falling asleep to fairy tales whispered by her sister in the dark.
That quiet, simple routine made her feel safe.
But Zion only realized how precious it was—
After she had lost it all.
Her father, once a hunter, was drafted into war,
And soon returned as a cold, lifeless corpse.
Her mother never left her bed again.
Her sister left for the city at dawn each day, working nonstop to support them.
And Zion was left behind, all alone.
Staying home by herself wasn’t the hard part.
What truly hurt was watching her sister’s smile fade day after day.
A few days later, Zion secretly followed her sister.
She thought maybe—if she helped—they could share the burden.
“Why did you follow me…?! Go back home!!”
It was the first time her sister had ever yelled at her.
Zion returned in tears, scared and heartbroken, feeling utterly betrayed.
It didn’t take long for her to realize…
how foolish she’d been.
“Filthy peasant brat!”
When her sister finally collapsed from exhaustion,
Zion took her place at the small theater.
And that’s where she first saw how cruel the world could be.
The performers didn’t treat her like a fellow human being.
“It’s your kind that drives away the customers!!”
To them, the theater’s janitor was no better than livestock.
Zion wanted to run away.
She wanted to bury her face in her pillow and cry it all out.
But she didn’t.
She wouldn’t.
She looked to the sky instead of the ground—
Because she believed that if she kept holding on,
she could reclaim the happiness she once had.
That one day, just like the swan on stage,
she would soar again.
“Sis…? Where are you? Stop playing around… please answer me.”
That hope lasted—
until the fires of war swallowed Brabant whole.
“No… no, this can’t be real… this can’t be happening!!”
Ash swept across her cheek as the wind howled through the ruins,
forcing her to face the unbearable truth.
“Ahaha… AHAHAHA!!”
And so, Zion began to dance.
She mimicked the troupe’s steps she had seen over the shoulder—
spinning, alone, without a partner.
But she quickly stumbled.
“I was never meant to be a swan, was I…”
She closed her eyes, wishing to wake from this nightmare.
Then—something miraculous happened.
“Zion. If you sleep out here… you’ll catch a cold.”
“Sis…? You’re alive?! I… I’m so glad!”
“Of course I am. We’ll always be together, remember?”
“Sis!!”
Zion threw herself into her sister’s arms and cried until she fell asleep.
And from the shadows, a fairy stepped into the light.
“Such powerful will, born from human sorrow… how fascinating.”
“……”
“So? What do you say? Would you like to lend me a hand?”
