New character – Phainon

Phainon is a 5-star Physical element character who follows the Path of Destruction.

Background

Aedes Elysiae, a remote frontier village isolated from the world, now lives on only in cryptic legends. Nameless hero █████, the Chrysos Heir carrying the Coreflame of “Worldbearing”, you must memorize the ideals of all worlds, carry the fate of multitudes, and bring the first light of dawn to the new world —”But should dawn have never existed, let the fires of rage burn this body to ashes and transform into the blazing sun of tomorrow!”

Combat Role

Phainon is a DPS character who can transform into █████ with multiple powerful abilities. While transformed, Phainon deploys a Territory that causes all teammates to become Departed and implants Physical Weakness in all enemies. During this state, he gains enhancements and becomes immune to Crowd Control debuffs and fatal damage. During exploration, Phainon increases the Technique Points limit, and his Technique can instantly defeat multiple enemy targets.

New character – Saber

Saber is a 5-star Wind element character who follows the Path of Destruction.

Background

The solitary Heroic Spirit traverses the long night of fate. The banner of the round table remains unfurled in a dream. Alas, the knight-king of Camelot has yet to reach that ever distant utopia. Though still a young maiden, she has heeded the call for this most unique iteration of the Holy Grail War. With the Sword in the Stone offering its choice once more, how shall she shatter the illusions of the past?

Combat Role

Saber is a character who deals massive DMG to all enemies with her Ultimate. She has special “Core Resonance” points. When conditions are met, Saber can immediately take action, use her Skill to consume “Core Resonance” points and fully regenerate her Energy.

New character – Archer

Archer is a 5-star Quantum element character who follows the Path of the Hunt.

Archer is also obtainable for free!

Background

Despair plays in cycles from past and future. Countless grand ideals were incinerated before that red and sacred cloth. Yet, do not let this smear of ashes fool you… Should someone create a phantasmal sweet dream under the guise of false ideals, then he will burn again, facing down the hypocrites of the world till the very end. No matter where he is, he always remains justice’s steadfast companion.

Combat Role

Archer is a DPS who can repeatedly use his Skill within the same turn. After a teammate uses an attack, Archer consumes his Charge to launch a Follow-up ATK on the enemy and recover a Skill Point.

Fate Collab

• The Fate collab will start on the 11th July, and it will feature two characters: Saber and Archer (you can read about them above).
• Both characters will obtain their own banners.
• Archer will also be obtainable for free by just logging in to the game!
• Their banners won’t end with patch 3.4, but will last at least till the end of 3.6 (or beyond that).
• Also, if you spend 200 Special Passes during the 3.4 patch, you will obtain Archer Light Cone for free!
  • Special Passes are used on the Rate-up banners.

New Battle Pass Light Cones

Eight new Light Cones will be added to the Battle Pass – one for each path.

Character Buffs

Four characters will receive buffs in 3.4: Blade, Kafka, Silver Wolf, and Jingliu. The buffs don’t include only changes to the base kit, but also Eidolons. Find some details below about how the characters will be changed:

Silver Wolf

• Ultimate lowers the DEF of all enemies now, so no more single-target only,
• Skill will have an increased base chance to implant the Weakness,
• Skill will prioritize implanting the Weakness matching the first character in the team,
• Silver Wolf will regenerate energy at the start of the battle and each of her turns (20/5).
• Silver Wolf Eidolons have also been buffed, both her E2 and E4.

Kafka

• Skill will trigger DoT on all enemies now, not just the main target,
• Talent will allow Kafka to use more FUA now, and the FUA will instantly trigger the DoT on the target,
• A2 Trace has been revamped and now it provides 100% ATK to an ally if they have above 75% Effect Hit Rate.

Blade

• Blade’s damage will fully scale off his own Max HP now.
• The FUA triggered via the talent will additionally restore 15 Energy,
• After using Skill, Blade will have an increased chance of getting hit.

Jingliu

• Jingliu will also fully scale off her own Max HP now,
• When an ally’s HP is reduced, Jingliu’s CRIT DMG increases, and she gains a stack of Syzygy,
• After entering Spectral Transmigration, the max Syzygy stack limit will increase, and Jingliu will get a stack of Syzygy,
• At max Syzygy stacks, Jingliu will ignore 25% of enemy DEF.

New Planar Sets

This patch will add two new planar sets. We don’t know what they do yet, though.

New Skin

Firefly will receive a skin—it will be a paid-only skin, though, and we don’t know its price yet.

Other New Additions

• New Trailblaze mission: For the Sun is Set to Die,
• The skip dialogue feature will be added,
• A new Stagnant Shadow will be added, and it will drop materials for Wind characters.
