Final Test

If you want to try the game earlier, you don’t have to wait till June!

On the 8th May, the Final Test will become available, where you can test the ‘release’ version of the game. The test will last until 19th May. Here’s some information about it, taken from our previous blog that focused on the test itself.

  • Final Test will begin on the 8th of May and end on the 19th of May,
  • Final Test supports Android, iOS, and PC – with crossplay enabled,
  • Server/Region restrictions:
    • Etherena and PVE-related leaderboards: limited to your current server,
    • Game features including Friends, Union, and Chat: Cross server within your region,
    • Summit Arena (RTA) and Phantom Theater (Coop PVE): Global matchmaking.
  • How to participate in the test?
    • Android: Pre-register in Android Store,
    • iOS: Access the TestFlight app linked on the official site,
    • PC: Directly download the client from the official site,
  • Data will be wiped once the Final Test ends,
  • Purchases will be enabled during the Final Test and everything you will spend will be returned in the form of ‘Hydra Vouchers’ on the full launch – but they will add additional stuff on top.
    • So, for example, if you spend between 100$ and 400$, you will get back Vouchers worth 150% of what you have spent on launch,
    • There are different spending brackets.

New Animus (characters)

In addition to the already large cast of 48th characters, 6 new ones will be added to the game for the release. You can see them in the image above, but here’s a list:

  • Freya, SSR, Hollow
  • Rilmocha, SSR, Hollow
  • Tsukiyo Mi, SSR, Odd
  • Borgne, SSR, Odd
  • Rosa, SSR, Odd
  • Mia, SSR, Reason

First Banners

Freya seems to be the first RGB rate-up character available in the final test! Also, once her banner ends, she will be added to the standard pool, so if you miss her (or any future rate-up char), don’t worry!

Kit summary

Freya is a buffer/debuffer hybrid, boosting allies’ Turn Meter whenever they gain a buff and reducing enemy Turn Meter whenever they are inflicted by a debuff. The debuff she can inflict on enemies not only causes them to take more damage, but also whenever allies attack said enemy, they will heal themselves!

Freya can also buff the DEF and ATK of all allies and apply Dreamweave buff to them – the buff activates whenever an ally is inflicted with a debuff and removes it (based on the amount of stacks).

Check her full skills below:

Skill 1 – Dream Lure
Skill 2 – Dreambinder
Skill 3 – Dream of Chaos

Other banners

When it comes to LD banners, the developers picked Massiah to be featured as the first rate-up. You can check his profile and what he does on our site here.

To learn how summoning works, check our Gacha Guide for Etheria: Restart. You will find the rates, the pity system, and more there!

New PVP mode

In addition to the PVP modes we already knew about (classic PVP vs AI and Real Time Arena), a third PVP mode will be available on launch: Fearless Arena.

Fearless Arena will be available only during weekends, and it simulates e-sports tournaments. You will be quickly matched with 7 other players and fight against them RTA style. The mode features a ladder format, so the winner of each match progresses till the final.

This mode has a weekly quest chain attached to it that rewards summoning tickets, premium currency, and exclusive frames.

Guild vs Guild Mode

In addition to the new PVP mode, Guild vs. Guild PVP was announced. It won’t be available at the game’s launch, but some time after!
