PVP Tier List Update

It is time for regular PVP tier list maintenance. The primary objectives of this update are to:

Adjust ratings for SSS characters who once dominated PVP, but have since seen their play rates reduced to more reasonable levels.
Adjust ratings for characters with new alternium reactors.
Adjust ratings for tech units.

The CounterSide PVP tier list has been updated and changes were made to reflect the current state of PVP meta. This blog post provides some commentary on changes made to the ratings.

ASSR Commentary

Evolved-001

As more and more ASSRs get their Alternium Reactors, the power gaps between ASSRs narrow. Evolved-001 (E1) is not one of those units.

In addition to the old AJake/ AYuna problems, E1’s matchups into the newer ASSR releases/ reactors have introduced new exciting bad matchups to lose to.

E1’s inflexible playstyle severely limits team building. Now that E1 teams have fallen out of relevance, it struggles to find a new niche for itself. In the current state of the game, E1 sees sporadic use as a camping tool to set up positioning for stronger units (i.e. ASigma).

Replacer Queen

Awakened Lee Sooyeon

B🡒S

The biggest winner from the recent Alternium Reactor batch, Awakened Lee Sooyeon’s (ALSY) Alternium Reactor gives her the damage she so desperately needed to fix her consistency issues. Now that her ETB deals more damage, ALSY no longer needs to pray for favorable hit/ crit RNG to perform her basic function as a specialized anti-flier unit.

Additionally ALSY’s Alternium Reactor provides much appreciated DPS boost, making her into a respectable backline damage dealer. The Skill Haste buff allows ALSY to equip a greater variety of gear (e.g. Volcano), further increasing her damage potential.
