Neverness to Everness Launch Roadmap Summary
NTE has an official global release date of April 29, 2026. It will be available on PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation®5, and Mac with full cross-platform support.
With that, we now have a full roadmap of everything the developers have planned. They provided a complete overview of all the listed changes, but this is a quick summary along with some context regarding the issues from the beta that they appear to have acknowledged.
System and Gameplay

- They are addressing overall performance and stability issues on PC, PlayStation, and mobile. This was a major complaint during the beta, and general bug fixes are expected.
- More visual options are being added, such as ray tracing. Existing options like Lumen will also have their bugs fixed. These issues were very prevalent in the beta and even caused noticeable ghosting.
- The Awaken interface, also known as the dupe skill screen, felt rather boring to many players. It is receiving a full overhaul, along with improvements to the character UI screen.
- The housing system was considered cool but lacking in certain areas. It will now be expanded with better furniture placement, improved controls, and more interaction.
- Many of the Hethereau Hobbies mini-games were difficult to matchmake in. Several of them will be expanded, including AI players for Mahjong, AI opponents for races, and more ride along companions. Overall improvements are planned for all the games, including visuals and variety. Other features like the claw machine will also be improved.
- A new photo mode with additional effects is being added, along with overall polish to the system.
- Better tutorials for characters are planned, with specific mention of Esper Cycles.
- Multiplayer improvements are coming.
- They plan to improve Fon rewards for Circle Bounty and Riftcrystal Mining Permits, as many players complained that the rewards were too low.
- The overall game feel will be improved on controller and mobile through better haptic feedback on controller, improved mobile UI, and additional keyboard bindings.
Open World Experience

- A first-person perspective will be added for hand-holding.
- More interactions will be added with companions, and existing character interactions will be improved. You will be able to invite Chiz.
- Driving feel will be improved across all platforms, along with driving UI polish, more car variety, and improved car camera behavior.
- Prison gameplay will include more escape methods, jobs, and rewards.
- Anomaly Commissions will receive new areas and an improved overall experience.
- The Pink Paws Heist will now support multiplayer. It will also feature more level variety, adjusted enemy and item spawn logic, improved rewards and pacing, and a shorter completion time.
- New bosses will be added for High Risk Commissions.
Character, Combat, and Story

- A new A Class character, Aurelia, will be added. This is Mitsuki from the beta, though it is unclear whether this is a name change or a stage name.
- Overall character detail will be improved, including hair and facial models, base animations, open world interactions, combat animations, and overall combat feel. Lip syncing improvements are also planned, which was one of the most complained about aspects in the beta. Dedicated improvements for mobile are also mentioned.
- Better localization is planned.
- New story content and open world encounters will be added.
Future Plans
Hotta is keeping major upcoming features hidden for now. They stated that these are things they would prefer to showcase later rather than reveal in the roadmap, so we will have to wait for more information. (Maybe a stream?)
