Etheria Restart – [Developer Log] New Gameplay & New Animuses Preview

Dear Hyperlinkers,

First, thank you for your continued support of Etheria: Restart since its global launch. It’s hard to believe nearly six months have passed! Throughout this journey, we’ve been inspired by your enthusiasm for the game—and are genuinely grateful for the vibrant discussions and valuable feedback shared by our community. We continue to gather your input, and our development team remains committed to refining the Etheria: Restart experience based on what you share.

Today, with the team’s approval, I’m excited to offer you an early look at some of the content coming in the November update. Let’s dive in!

Union System & [United Front] Optimizations

We’ve seen your feedback regarding the recent adjustments to the draw system in the Union’s [United Front] and understand that it’s become a significant topic of discussion within the community. The dev team has been closely monitoring these conversations. In last week’s Raymerry update, a temporary fix was applied to the draw rules to ensure that both sides receive rewards when they are evenly matched. We’ll continue to fine-tune the [United Front] regulations to make them fairer and more enjoyable. Thank you for your continued attention, understanding, and constructive suggestions.

Beyond the Union system, we’re also working on broader game optimizations. When the RTA SS1 season launched, our focus was divided between multiple regional rollouts. Now that operations have stabilized, we’re able to respond to feedback more quickly and focus on improving existing content. Please keep reporting any issues or suggestions you encounter; they are genuinely valued.

Shell Forge: [Shell Lab]

Many Hyperlinkers have mentioned that Shells are currently obtained only through stages, and that finding one that fits your needs can be challenging. We’ve taken this feedback seriously and prioritized it for development.

Our team is introducing a new Shell crafting feature [Shell Lab]—that will allow you to forge Shells tailored to your Matrix requirements. The event will function similarly to [Module Forge] and aims to help players acquire shells they’ve been wanting to strengthen their Animus lineups with.

[Shell Lab] is still under active development and is planned to launch as a limited-time event after the next. Please stay tuned to our community channels for the official start date.

[Dreamscape] Improvements

In the next version, a new round of [Dreamscape] will open. For CN-server players, this will be your first chance to experience the event, while global players have already participated in several runs.

Based on extensive feedback from previous events, our designers have been iterating on the [Dreamscape] experience to make it more engaging and rewarding. These improvements will debut alongside the upcoming rerun. Please keep an eye on our community posts for detailed update notes—we look forward to hearing your impressions of the new version!

New PvE Competitive Mode: Nether Quarry

Allow us to introduce an entirely new PvE mode arriving in the next update: Nether Quarry.

This is a competitive boss-challenge mode where players rank by total damage dealt. Daily promotions will be awarded based on rankings, with top performers earning valuable Animus growth materials and exclusive rewards, such as avatar titles. More details will be revealed soon. Stay tuned!

Two new Animuses

Two new Animuses will join Etheria in the upcoming version.

The first is a familiar face—returning with a completely different combat style. This time, he takes on the role of a support-type Animus with exceptional survivability and crowd-control capabilities.

The second is an offensive Animus with strong control abilities. We’ll share full details and previews next week, so please look forward to it!

Thank you for reading!

The updates shared today represent just a portion of what’s coming in the next version. Beyond this, we’re already preparing for the SS2 season, which we can’t wait to share more about soon. For now, enjoy the final month of SS1—and as always, thank you for being part of Etheria: Restart.
