New Animuses

This update will introduce 2 new Animuses to both [Extre-Affinity Summon] and [Permanent Summon].

New SSR Animus | Destroy Declaration – Liliam (Disorder)

Role: Liliam is an offensive Animus that combines both [DMG Burst] and [Control].

New SR Animus | Sunshadow – Nell (Disorder)

Role: Nell is a support Animus who provides both AoE [Vulnerable] and [SPD ↑] buffs.

◆ New Summon – Limited-Time Animus UP

Event1: Animus Summon – [Tempest Nocturne]

Time: 2025/07/31 00:00 – 2025/08/20 23:59 (UTC-5)

Content: During the event, summoning an SSR Animus in [Tempest Nocturne] guarantees the limited SSR Animus [Destroy Declaration – Liliam]. [Tempest Nocturne] is an [Extre-Affinity Summon]. In [Extre-Affinity Summon] pools, a limited SSR Animus is guaranteed within 80 pulls.

◆ Gameplay Updates

  1. [Grim Pursuit] – Inferno difficulty now features a guaranteed Mythic-quality Shell drop: After every 5 battle victories, you are guaranteed to receive 1 Mythic-quality Shell.
  2. [Anisync Echoes] stages 49–54 have been unlocked, together with the addition of the [Heinrich] chapter storyline.
  3. New [Ember Trek] mechanic introduced: Frostbite – At the start of battle, one random Animus from your lineup will be afflicted with [Frost Mark]. After 10 turns, a snowstorm will sweep across the battlefield. This new mechanic will be adopted in the next round of [Ember Trek].
  4. Secret stages have been added to [Ember Trek].

◆ New [Arena Loadout] Feature:

A dedicated gear loadout system available exclusively in [Arena Realm] mode. You can create specialized competitive builds for your Animus based on team composition without affecting your regular PvE builds.

Battle Balance Adjustments

After the conclusion of RTA Season 0, we have made several balance adjustments based on player performance and the current overall strength of each Animus.

Animus Adjustments

The following changes are listed as the final effects when both Animus and their skills are fully leveled (Lv5).

  • SSR [Scarlet Ironveil·Helkid]
    • Stats: ▷ Basic SPD increased from 111 → 117 (Can reach 127 when upgraded to 6 stars).
    • [Shroud Barrier] (Skill-3) ▷ Deals 3 hits of 110% damage to all enemies; grants all allies a [Shroud Barrier] equal to 240% → 300% of own ATK.
  • SSR [Banmoku Blade·Holden]
    • [Punishment] (Skill-1) ▷ Deal 3 hits of damage to a single enemy, each hit equal to 110% → 125% of own DEF; and has a 20% → 25% chance to inflict [DEF ↓] for 1 turn.
    • [Execution Mode] (Exclusive Passive) ▷ Upon entering battle, gains 10% → 12% Counter Rate and 5% → 6% Final DMG for every 500 DEF.
  • SSR [Grim Penalty·Khloros]
    • [Doom’s Resurge] (Skill-3) ▷ Deals 480% damage to a single enemy and applies [Doom Toll]. Each time [Doom’s Resurge] is used, its Final DMG permanently increases by 25% → 35%, up to a maximum increase of 100% → 105%. If this skill kills the target, they cannot be revived for the rest of the battle.
  • SSR [Wily Revenant·Rahu]
    • [Flame Stream] (Skill-1) ▷ Deals damage to a single enemy equal to 350% → 380% of own DEF, with a 60% → 80% chance to inflict [DEF ↓] for 1 turn.
    • [Flame Authority] (Skill-3) ▷ Rahu first grants all allies [DEF ↑] for 2 turns and gains 2 stacks of [Wrath], then deals damage to all enemies equal to 360% → 400% of own DEF.
  • SSR [Burst Sweety·Rilmocha]
    • [Dessert Time] (Skill-2) ▷ Rilmocha deals 280% damage to all enemies. For each 1% HP the target has lost, Final DMG increases by 0.6% → 1%. After attacking, 70% of her own lost HP recovered.
    • [Candy Attack] (Skill-3) ▷ Rilmocha first deals 3 hits of 180% → 200% damage to a single enemy; the first hit has a 75% → 100% chance to inflict [Stun] for 1 turn. After attacking, deals Splash Damage to all enemies equal to 33% of the total damage dealt. If any of the first 3 attacks defeat the target, the Splash Damage increases to 100%.
  • SSR [Elusive Grace·Fuqiu]
    • [Prowess-Anima] Effect ▷ The 4th Anima effect has been changed from [Effect ACC] +12% to [Effect RES] +12%.
  • SR [Phantom Edge·Oboro]
    • Buff [Bleeding] ▷ At the start of the turn, takes indirect damage equal to 50% → 100% of the applier’s ATK.
  • SR [Thunderbolt·Gray]
    • [Lightning Speed] (Skill-3) ▷ Deals 220% damage to all enemies; on a CRIT, deals an additional 120% → 160% damage.
  • SR [Illusion’s Reality·Chiaki]
    • [Origami Hymn] (Skill-3) ▷ Chiaki folds numerous Origamis to heal all allies; the healing amount is 30% of each target’s max HP. For every 2% HP lost, healing is increased by an additional 1.2%; and grants 2 stacks → 3 stacks of [Origami Guardian] to each target, lasting 5 turns.
  • SR [Wild Rampage·Rin]
    • [Source Guard] (Skill-2) ▷ Grants all allies [DEF ↑] for 2 turns and a [Shield] equal to 270% → 300% of own DEF. The cooldown of this skill is reduced from 4 turns to 3 turns.
  • SR [Musou Blade·Tsutomu]
    • [Vanishing Shade] (Skill-2) ▷ Tsutomu deals 2 hits of 160% → 200% damage to a single enemy. Each hit has a 60% → 80% chance to steal 1 random buff from the target.
    • [Lunar Blitz] (Skill-3) ▷ Deals 2 hits of 240% → 280% damage to a single enemy. If the final hit is a CRIT, there is a 100% chance to inflict [Wound] and [Block] for 2 turns.
  • SR [Pure Dimension·Marvell]
    • [Stasis Strike] (Skill-3) ▷ Skill cooldown reduced from 5 turns to 4 turns.
  • SR [Grim Fist·Mizuki Makoto]
    • Stats: ▷ Basic SPD increased from 107 → 110 (Can reach 120 when upgraded to 6 stars).
    • [Straight Punch] (Skill-1) ▷ Deals damage to a single enemy equal to 300% → 360% of own DEF, with a 50% chance to dispel 1 buff from the target.
  • R [Zephyr Blade·Sybil]
    • [Electro Rush] (Skill-2) ▷ Deals 3 hits of 100% → 120% damage to a single enemy. For every 10% max HP the target has lost, damage increases by 10%.
    • [Whirling Tempest] (Skill-3) ▷ Deals 4 hits of 90% → 110% damage to a single enemy. Each hit has a 50% → 60% chance to inflict [DEF ↓] for 2 turns.
  • R [Researcher·No. 41]
    • [Boosting Potion] (Skill-3) ▷ Increases all allies’ Turn Meter by 20% → 25% and grants [ATK ↑] for 2 turns.
  • R [Ursa Minor·Cachi]
    • [Heroic Strike] (Skill-3) ▷ Deals 250% damage to all enemies, knocks back their Turn Meter by 50%, and has a 35% → 50% chance to inflict [Stun] for 1 turn.

◆ Shell Adjustments

The changes below list the final effects of Awakened Shell skills.

  • [Revelation]
    • ▷ Implemented Effect: In PvP modes, [Revelation] will be affected by the Etherena Effect—Protection Field, reducing damage delt by 30%.
  • [Golden Lion]
    • ▷ When the host Animus uses Skill-1 twice, increases the host’s Final DMG by 5% → 8% and [Effect ACC] by 7% → 15%. Maximum stacks reduced from 8 to 5. Hyperlinkers accumulate stacks faster.
  • [General Adjustment]
    • ▷ All Shell skills will no longer be considered [Skill-1]. Any effects that target or interact with [Skill-1] will no longer apply to Shell skills.

◆ Module Adjustments

[Keeneye] ▷ Can no longer be triggered by damage from Shells.

Issue Fixes

Battle

  1. Corrected [Animus-Celince]’s skill description: the final effect of <Healing Mist> should be “applies [Aqua Shield] to all allies equal to 14% of her max HP,” not 12%.
  2. Fixed an issue where the in-battle Buff Tips for [Animus-DokiDoki]’s skill <Pseudocode> (at skill level 5) were inconsistent with the skill description in the character profile.
  3. Fixed an issue where the in-battle Buff Tips for [Animus-Andrew-Odd]’s skill <Indomitable Will> were inconsistent with the skill description in the character profile.
  4. Corrected the boss mechanic description for Dahlia in [Ember Trek – Hard] stage 18 – Memory Abyss.
  5. Fixed an incorrect description for the special mechanic [To the Last Breath] in [Anisync Echoes] – 27 Heinrich.
  6. Corrected a mistake in the description of [Shell-Amber] regarding the effect trigger order; Amber’s skill should restore max HP first, then remove all applied effects.
  7. Fixed incorrect in-battle text and Buff Tips for [Shell-Slumbaa].
  8. Fixed an issue where [Animus-Dinah]’s damage boost effect was occasionally affected by other effects.
  9. Fixed an issue where [Animus-Valerian]’s <Deep Sleep> skill could reallocate HP such that current HP exceeded the new maximum HP after being sealed.
  10. Fixed an issue where equipping the <Bulwark> Module on [Animus-Freya] would cause the turn meter to display incorrectly.
  11. Fixed an issue where [Animus-Rahu] would not trigger Co-op after acting, until gaining a new stack of <Wrath>.
  12. Fixed an issue where [Animus-Fangus]’s passive skill <Contamination> would become invalid after being revived or triggered by Amber.
  13. Fixed an issue where [Shell-Dark Moon]’s effect to extend debuffs sometimes did not work correctly and could be transferred by enemies.
  14. Fixed an issue in [Grim Pursuit – Sharon] where shortening debuff durations would trigger [Concerto – Bud] and [Concerto – Flower] evolutions.
  15. Fixed an issue where [Animus-Khloros]’s <Doom’s Resurge> [Doom Toll] effect could transfer abnormally under special circumstances.

Gameplay

  1. Fixed an issue where using Eagle Eye near a treasure chest in [Ember Trek] would cause abnormal behavior.
  2. Fixed an issue where encountering certain enemies for the first time in [Archive] would not unlock their respective entries.
  3. Fixed an incorrect faction description for Mizuki Makoto in [Archive].
  4. Fixed an issue where [Phantom Theater] could not deploy characters under poor network conditions.
  5. Fixed an issue where deploying teammate characters in [Phantom Theater] could result in an error.
  6. Fixed an issue where some tasks might display abnormally in [Pass].
  7. Fixed an issue where the [United Front] boss <Selone> could trigger Animus counterattacks.
  8. Fixed an abnormal initial Turn Meter issue for the [United Front] boss <Selone-Odd>.
  9. Fixed an issue in [United Front] where unit bonuses and abnormal effects could be affected by <Forgetfulness>.

Others

  1. Fixed [Leaderboard] display errors due to excessively long player nicknames.
  2. Resolved issues in [Chat] where network fluctuations caused update failures in chat channels.
  3. Fixed Shell recycle that might incorrectly affect related quests.
  4. Fixed display errors in [Etherena], where quitting before battle incorrectly triggered the results interface.
  5. Fixed [EtherNet Rally] stage <NicoNana>, where automatic battle failed to lock onto the Boss after being grabbed twice.
  6. Fixed issues in [Share] where viewing default information displayed errors.
  7. Fixed turn meter icon display errors when both [Turn Meter+] and [Turn Meter-] effects were simultaneously active.
  8. Fixed HP bar animation glitches during multi-hit attacks under special conditions.
  9. Fixed buff icon display inconsistencies during combat in certain scenarios.
  10. Fixed improper display of third-party images in [Chat].

Optimizations & Adjustments

  1. Enhanced [Strategy] functionality: Added lineup recommendations for daily high-difficulty challenges with curated top-tier Animus setups based on aggregated player clears.
  2. [Formation] feature optimization: After the update, [Formation] will now save both Shell and Module equipment statuses for Animus. The original [Formation] quick access menu has been removed; you can now save your current team setup and equipment directly to [Formation] during the deployment phase of each stage. Please note that any lineups saved in the previous [Formation] feature will be cleared after the update.
  3. Added display for initial [Turn Meter].
  4. Improved [Continuous Battle] stability and added marker for double-drop items.
  5. Revised conditions for [Achievement] <Module> collection quests, allowing submission of higher-quality Modules.
  6. Improved event descriptions and effects in [Shell Story] with clickable info
  7. Removed daily donation limit in [Cyber Shadows]
  8. Adjusted the rewards for the last three diamond events in [Chaku-ring’s Adventure] to be tripled.
  9. Adjusted the description for the [Hyperlink Charter – Animus Fate3 – Special Training IV] Grim Pursuit challenge: Defeat Sharon-Hell or higher difficulty 10 times.
  10. Improved restriction prompts when purchasing [Arena Ticket] in [Etherena].
  11. Lowered stage requirements for daily tasks in [Cage Rumble]: SSS reduced from 4500 to 3000, SS reduced from 3000 to 2500.
  12. Reduced damage dealt by [Animus-Vice-Odd] as an enemy.
  13. Optimized the battle effects for [Animus-Xiada]’s skill <Wavering Soul>.
  14. Increased participation rewards for victories and defeats in [Summit Arena]: Victory now grants 200 <Decisive Star Emblem>, defeat grants 50 <Decisive Star Emblem>.
  15. Improved battle result screen performance.
  16. Improved the visual effects for certain characters in the game.
  17. Improved the adaptation of multiple languages in the game.
  18. Improved overall game stability.
