- S1 Lvl 3: Selects 1 enemy unit within 7 tiles, dealing Physical damage equal to 180% of attack to it. [Mental Image] will activate S1 with itself as the skill’s center and can no longer use active attacks during this turn. If Mental Image’s S1 did not hit the enemies that are hit by Lainie’s S1, ignores 60% of the target’s defense. Mental Image’s S1 and Lainie’s S1 both applies 1 stack of [Umbrella Care II] on the target before attacking, and increases critical damage by 20% against targets whose defense is lower than or equal to 0 (5 Stability damage, 0 cooldown)
- S2: Unknown single target skill
- Ultimate Lvl 3: Selects 1 empty tile within 7 tiles, summons 1 [Mental Image] and applies 2 stacks of [Umbrella Care II] on all enemies within 3 tiles of the selected tile, and increases Lainie’s Confectance Index by 3 points. Lainie and [Mental Image] both gain [Bond of Potential II] for 1 round. At the end of the round, [Mental Image] decreases Lainie’s Confectance Index by 2 points. If Lainie has insufficient Confectance Index or the [Mental Image] dies, the [Mental Image] will return back to Laine. This skill cannot be activated when [Mental Image] is present on the battlefield. When Lainie or [Mental Image] deals damage to enemy units whose defense is lower than or equal to 0, the other half gains [Bond of Power] (1 turn cooldown)

If this skill hit 3 or fewer enemies, for every 1 less enemy hit, increases damage multiplier by 20%, up to 180%. Lainie will activate S1 against the enemy and can no longer use active attacks for this round. If this skill hits a target whose defense is lower than or equal to 0, Lainie’s S1 will ignore 60% of the target’s defense. If the skill activation fails, Lainie can only activate S1 during this turn. [Mental Image]’s S1 and Lainie’s S1 both applies 1 stack of [Umbrella Care II] on the target before attacking, and increases critical damage by 20% against targets whose defense is lower than or equal to 0 (3 Stability damage, 0 cooldown)
- S2 Lvl 1: Selects 1 empty tile within 7 tiles, dealing AoE Physical damage equal to 120% attack to all enemies within 3 tiles of the selected tile. Lainie will activate S2 against the selected enemy and can no longer use active attacks for this round. If this skill hit 2 or fewer enemies, Lainie’s S2 deals 5 additional points of stability damage. If the skill activation fails, Lainie can only activate S2 during this turn (3 Stability damage)
- Ultimate: Swaps position with Lainie, and gains an additional attack for self (2 turns cooldown)

New Neural Expansion:
- Faye:
- When dealing damage against enemy units with [Open Wounds], ignores 50% of defense, and attack is increased by 15%. When Faye uses her Ultimate [No Survivors], adds 2 stacks of [Laceration] to the target. When using [Flying Axe] or [Revolving Axe] from Faye’s passive, inflicts [Movement Denied] to the target for 1 turn.
New Systems:
- Added EX difficulty to new event stories and challenge mode, rewarding players that clear the event in EX mode an ID card background.
- In EX difficulty, the enemy units will be adjusted to your Commander level, your units will be debuffed, and the enemy units will be buffed.
- Added more main stories into the main story campaign:
- Sojourners of the Glass Island Part 1 (Chapter 6.5)
- Sojourners of the Glass Island Part 2 (Chapter 6.7)
- Deep Oblivion Part 1 (Chapter 11)
- Deep Oblivion Part 2 (Chapter 12)
- Added event stories into the [Past Events] section
- Moved Glass Island stories from [Past Events] to main story campaign
- Added Makiatto’s event story [Rhapsody Quartet] to the [Past Events] section
- More event stories to be added in the future
- Added Sex Change Potion to the game, allowing the player to use the potion to change their sex once. This potion will be given to players for free. Unknown whether it can be obtained using… other methods.
- Lore tidbit: Apparently Persica made the potion, go figure.
Mini-Games:
- Coordination Drill – [Typhoon Season] added.
- A map that is… more windy than usual
System Optimizations:
- [Phase Breakthrough] rework in progress, the first phase of the rework has been pushed in game in the coming patch.
- Added descriptions for each element’s role in game
- Added toggle to silence character interactions in game
Notes:
- Yuzhong had mentioned Lainie is POTENTIALLY the Physical damage hyper carry that the players are waiting for. Stay tuned to find out.
- The devs spent the majority of the video (around 10min+) manplaining about the changes to Phase Breakthrough, which is already in the aforementioned links above
- Lainie’s event will cover on the “origin” of her, and how she came about. Spoilers for Deep Oblivion which I will not mention here
