Workshop of Brilliant Light: Demons’ Castle Upper Floors
Following the Story of Baran, Monarch of White Flames in the last Update,
Workshop of Brilliant Light: Demons’ Castle Upper Floors Baran Raid will be added to the game.
First, Baran will begin with the difficulty of somewhere between Vulcan easy and normal.
If you manage to clear the Baran raid immediately after the update, you’ll be in the top 10% of hunters worldwide.
Secondly, there is no mandatory requirement to have specific hunter skills in order to defeat Baran.
When challenging Vulcan, we are aware that hunters with shield removal such as Hwang Dongsoo or Meilin Fisher took a spot in your formation. Instead, how about challenging Baran with a more diverse group of hunters?
Lastly, Baran has weaknesses against Dark Element and Wind Element.
Just like Vulcan, Baran also has a standard amount of Break Gauge.
Utilizing this will help you in challenging Baran.
To assist with defeating Vulcan, we plan to extend Charlotte’s rate up period for a week.

A New Growth System! The Power of Core
As announced in the previous official livestream, along with the renewal of Encore Missions and Instance Dungeon, we are planning to introduce the new Core System and a renewal for the Workshop of Brilliant Light so that cores could be obtained as a reward.
A core is another growth element for Sung Jinwoo and other hunters,
equipping a core that matches the passive will offer special effects and stats.
A total of 3 cores can be equipped, and each of them offer specialized effects such as Attack / Defense / Support.
We share with you the image of the upcoming Core System, and will be putting in our utmost effort to finalize everything before we meet with you.
The Ultimate Hunter and The Glamorous Model! And The Demon King’s Longsword
During the last official livestream, our team mentioned that we will continuously monitor and adjust hunters who are less equipped.
In this balance adjustment, Fire Element hunters from the manhwa and the Demon King’s Longsword will be adjusted since they have received the most feedback from our fellow hunters.
The Ultimate Hunter: Choi Jong-In
[Passive Details, Advancement 0] Instead of Critical Hits being applied, Attack will be adjusted as 40% → 50%.
[The Ultimate Hunter, Advancement 0] Attack and Defense Penetration will be adjusted as 16% → 20%.
[End of Days, Advancement 3] Skill Damage will be adjusted as 50% → 60%.
[Burn] The damage dealt every 3 seconds will be adjusted from 50% to 100%.
[Equivalent Exchange] The Attack Increase rate based on advancements will be adjusted as listed below.

[Kill Shot, Advancement 1] The Attack of the Core Attack which is activated when using Kill Shot,
will be adjusted as 30% → 40%.
[Advancement 2] Defense Penetration will be adjusted as 10% → 12%.
[Magic Reaction, Advancement 5] To opponents who are applied with Magic Reaction,
the damage of [Kill Shot, Hell Fire] per stack will be increased as 4% → 6% and 80% → 120% at maximum stack.

Upcoming Changes
The upcoming update has various changes prepared for you.
We are also preparing to improve certain aspects that may have caused inconvenience for our hunters.
- Cha Hae-In / Alicia Blanche / Meilin Fisher / Yoo Soohyun / Amamiya Mirei / Han Se-Mi will be added to the Rate Up Draw.
- Meilin Fisher / Yoo Soohyun / Amamiya Mirei / Han Se-Mi / Go Gunhee will be added to the Special Summons after the reset on 10/16. Additionally, you can also obtain Sung Jinwoo Weapon Phoenix Soul and Zeke’s Fragment.
- The amount of Platinum Commemorative Coin obtained when obtaining additional hunters who have completed Transcendence Advancement, will be increased as 15 → 240.
(If you have already obtained Platinum Commemorative Coins through Transcendence Advancement, additional 225 Platinum Commemorative Coins per duplicate count will be distributed after the update.)
- Additional items will be added to the Platinum Commemorative Coin Exchange Shop.

- The flying pattern frequency of Kaisellin will decrease.
- The pattern where Kaisellin flies and charges towards the user will be changed to be triggered when failing to Break.
- The placement of the guild menu will be readjusted for easier access.
- A function will be added which allows registering scores while paused during Power of Destruction / Guild Boss.
- Level 73, 78 Artifacts will be obtainable from certain difficulties of Instance Dungeon / Encore Missions.
- Sung Jinwoo’s preset will be extended as 3 → 5.
- The selective rewards for each level of the subscription will be increased.
- The Workshop of Brilliant Light Key will be adjusted to be purchased by guild level 6 or higher.
- A New Blessing Stone slot will be added on 10/31 (Thu).
As the attacks of existing magic beasts have become more powerful, the surviving environment of hunters has become more harsh. To solve the issue, we are planning to add a separate slot regardless of the remaining slots for equipping Blessing Stones that can provide assistance in survival.
All Blessing Stones could be equipped in the previous 4 slots, but only Blessing Stones related to survival can be equipped in the new slot.
Other than the details above, the team is currently focusing on the precious feedback from our hunters.
For example, we have confirmed feedback regarding the increase in mana consumption when leveling up.
We are currently reviewing to improve the less importance of level up due to increase in mana consumption when leveling up.
We will strive to provide a better gaming environment as possible.
The team is preparing for more various details in October in addition to the updates scheduled for 10/10 (Thu).
Judge of Death
We have revealed this image through the previous second half roadmap of the year before.
The monster that you could sometimes see on the loading screen is approaching close to you step by step. By the time its true form is revealed, a new job change for Sung Jinwoo will likely be added.
An upcoming season event <Horror Festival> and new Instance Dungeon and Encore Missions bosses are also scheduled for that period!
