With the 100 days celebration, the game added another wave of buffs and some new content like guild boss that let some hunters shine or solidify their place in the meta. Below you will find a list of the recent tier list changes, with a bit of insight explaining the changes

SLA Character Tierlist Changes

Light element:

The light element was mostly unchanged with the Guild Boss update, with just a few movements

  • Go Gunhee: Pretty much takes Baek’s spot as Light’s premier Breaker coupled with powerful support abiities.
  • Baek Yoonho: Due to the addition of Go Gunhee, we dropped his placing to S tier. Their overall Breaking power isn’t worlds apart, but it’s undeniable that Gunhee brings much more to the team.

Dark element:

The Dark element received finally a bit of love with the latest buff to Silver Mane Baek Yoonho, on top of Guild Boss being the ideal playground for a buffer like Lee Bora!

  • SM Baek Yoonho: After the recent buffs, we are confident to bump him back to the S+ tier, being the prime DPS in the element. We can imagine Dark will get more tools to play with soon, but for now he reclaimed his spot!
  • Lee Bora: Being a powerful support in guild boss, she can be played as both a sub DPS and a support. In spite of her A4 reducing the CD on her Ultimate, we added this as an ideal ‘sweet spot’ for her. We also added the high investment tag to reflect how powerful her weapon can be when it comes to buffing the raid DPS. However, keep in mind that with potential new Dark chars coming we might get more dedicated supports. Invest at your risk
  • Lim Tae-Gyu: While Lim is the best Dark breaker, his performance is a bit lacking compared to the other S+ tiers in the element. Because of this, our poor markman missed his mark and fell to tier S as a consequence.

Fire element:

Surprisingly, the fire element got a big winner this update and that someone is Choi Jong-In.

  • Emma Laurent: We added the high investment tab to reflect the fact Emma is a force to be respected in speedrunning content and in PoD, especially when she has dupes on her weapon.
  • Choi Jong-In: While his performance is lower compared to Yoo, our strongest weapon actually did a bit of self reflection and community (re)discovered his powerful support capabilities, specifically his debuff thanks to his weapon. Players that want to maximise their Guild Boss performance may want to consider investing in his weapon. He can play the main DPS of the ‘debuff squad’ with Lee Bora and Anna or can support Bora, the man is sure flexible.

Water element:

With the addition of Guild Boss, some units performed unexpectedly well in this new 9 Hunter environment.

  • Anna Ruiz: Her powerful debuffs earned her a spot in many teams as a dedicated support, so we raised her tier to match her increase in usability
  • Lee Johee: Similar to Anna, she found a new niche in Guild Bosses being able to replenish Mana to her team mates. While she’s not the best in slot in the Guild Boss, she can be a great addition for Players that don’t have an invested Seo, since it opens up the potential to run different set combinations by running two supports.
  • Nam Chae-Young: Considering the Workshop of Brilliant Light is now weak to Wind/Water and the fact Nam’s damage is no longer holding up, we decided to bump Nam down a tier. She is still an incredible Breaker, but Breaking alone is no longer enough to keep her previous spot.

Wind:

No changes to the element, as Han Se-mi and Amamiya Mirei are dominating the DPS charts with Woo Jinchul being the Greed bearer helping Mirei out.

SLA Weapon Tierlist Changelog

SS Tier:

The weapons in the SS Tier are revered for their undeniable power and versatility. These weapons are not only flexible but can also serve as the cornerstone of your account, no matter the fight. With the introduction of Guild Boss mode, the importance of weapons that can support the entire team through powerful buffs or debuffs has significantly increased. Among these, Moonshadow stands out, arguably the strongest weapon in the game overall. Its ability to buff all team members at A5 makes it a crucial asset, especially for boosting your Guild Boss and PoD scores. Given its immense value, it’s advisable to keep Moonshadow in your rate-up to achieve that highly coveted power spike. However, it’s currently rated at A3, with a $ tag denoting its value.

S+ Tier:

Weapons in the S+ Tier are top-tier when it comes to DPS within their respective elements. They offer incredible value and should be seriously considered when curating your wishlist. West Wind remains a phenomenal weapon for progression, but it has been slightly downgraded when factoring in Guild Boss considerations. The Truth: Demon Light Spear is a notable mention based on its expected performance and since it can be obtained for free from the Guild Store, we will be rating it at an A5 requirement, similar to other free weapons in the list. Depending on the level of your Radiru Bow, it can serve as a viable replacement until you secure a few dupes of the Demon Light Spear.

S Tier:

Weapons in the S Tier are strong options within their respective elements, but they possess certain flaws that prevent them from reaching the highest tier. With recent changes to the S+ rank, several popular weapons, including Scythe, Radiru Bow, and Orb of Avarice, have been reclassified into this tier. Typically, SSR weapons will fall into this ranking, especially freebies, unless they prove to be slightly underwhelming compared to other general-use options.
