New Awakened Employee – Kostroma Mavka

Mavka is the ultimate PVE/ PVP anti-defender damage dealer on account of her passive 160% Anti-Defender DMG%. Conversely, her damage into her damage into other enemy types is only middling at best.

Most of Mavka’s damage comes from basic attacks. Her passive is split into three stages, and ramps up over a short time. The final stage grants her immunity to hitstun from special skills and has fantastic dps, but until she reaches it her damage is nothing special.

In PVP, Mavka is a fairly one-dimensional unit that sees use as the nuclear option against defenders. While anti-defender damage dealers are universally appreciated across all team comps, Mavka’s many weaknesses limit her usage and paradoxically make her more niche than cheaper, less damaging alternatives. The most prominent of her weaknesses are:

Low range: Mavka often gets clipped by AoE attacks.
Ramp up time: Mavka’s passive makes her uniquely vulnerable to common disruption tools as she has to reach Stage 3 again.
Inability to hit air: Mavka often exposes herself after killing enemy defenders.

These weaknesses often mean that without extreme positioning advantage Mavka struggles to justify high upfront DP cost.

New Employee – Drekavac

BSide cooked so hard they reinvented a three year old problem designing characters with DMG% in their kit and then neutering their damage modifiers to compensate. The end result is that Drekavac, even with her anti-Boss DMG% active, deals about as much damage as Grendel.

For a character designed around dealing damage to bosses, she performs considerably worse than pre-existing alternatives.

Changes and Improvements

Gauntlet Ups Changes

A new UP System will apply starting from August 18, 2024, at 14:00.
1. Total number of employees selected for [UP] is now 3.
2. Deployment Cost reduction buff is no longer applicable.
3. The stat buff will remain the same as before.
4. UP employees will be selected once per season.
5. Records of UP employees from the Courageous Season will also be considered.
The first Purchase will be reset.
The reconnection pop-up that appears after watching an ad will be removed.
1. The system will automatically reconnect you after you watch an ad with your reward.
The completion requirement for TASKFORCE Plan missions targeting Simulations and Side Story Hard stages will be adjusted.

Before: Clear the specified stage after activating the mission.
After: Automatically complete if there is a clear history of the target stage.

Fixes

A fix where some visual effects for employees with high ASPD were displayed incorrectly.
