New character – Firefly

Firefly is a 5-star Fire element character who follows the path of Destruction.

Background

A member of the Stellaron Hunters and a young girl clad in a mechanical armor “SAM.” Born as a weapon, she’s afflicted with the agony of Entropy Loss Syndrome due to genetic modification. She joined the Stellaron Hunters in search of the meaning of life, relentlessly pursuing ways to defy fate.

Combat Role

Firefly is a damage dealer who fights using her mech armor, SAM. By activating her Ultimate, she enters the Complete Combustion state, enhancing her abilities. In this state, SAM has increased Break capabilities and Break DMG, and can also deal partial Toughness Reduction to enemies that are not weak to Fire. Additionally, she can apply Fire Weakness to enemies using her Technique or Enhanced Skill.

Basic	Order: Flare Propulsion	Deals Fire DMG to a single enemy.
Basic (enhanced)	Fyrefly Type-IV: Pyrogenic Decimation	Restores own HP and deals Fire DMG to a single enemy.
Skill	Order: Aerial Bombardment	Consumes own HP and regenerates a certain amount of own Energy (seems nearly or over half of Max Energy was restored in the gameplay). Deals Fire DMG to a single target enemy.
Skill (enhanced)	Fyrefly Type-IV: Deathstar Overload	Restores own HP and implants Fire Weakness on a single enemy. Then deals Fire DMG to the single enemy and adjacent enemies.
Ultimate	Fyrefly Type-IV: Complete Combustion	Enters the Complete Combustion state, increases own Speed, and gains Enhanced Basic ATK and Enhanced Skill. Also, during this state, Firefly’s Weakness Break and Break Efficiency are increased when using the enhanced skills. Firefly appears on the Action Bar when she’s in this mode and once the countdown is over, she will exit the Complete Combustion state.
Talent	Chrysalid Pyronexus	The lower the HP, the less DMG received.
Technique	Order: Meteoric Incineration	Leaps into the air and moves about freely then jumps toward the enemies. At the start of each wave applies a Fire Weakness to all enemies and deals Fire DMG to all enemies.

New character – Jade

Jade is a 5-star Quantum element character who follows the path of Erudition.

Background

A senior manager in the IPC Strategic Investment Department and one of the Ten Stonehearts. Her Cornerstone is “Jade of Credit.” A cold and elegant moneylender, she is skilled at understanding the human heart, with a personal hobby called “Bonajade Exchange.” She’s willing to wait patiently for high-value acquisitions and adept at extracting value from seemingly destitute clients.

Combat Role

Jade is a damage dealer who can designate a single ally as a Debt Collector. By attacking enemy targets, either through herself or the Debt Collector, she gains Charges, which trigger follow-up attacks. When Jade activates her Talent’s follow-up attack, she immediately gains stackable effects that increase her CRIT DMG and ATK.

Here are her skills revealed during the stream:

Skill	Name	Description
Basic	Lash of Riches	Deals Quantum DMG to a single enemy and adjacent enemies.
Skill	Acquisition Surety	Enters an agreement with a single ally, and increases their SPD. After the ally attacks, they deal Additional Quantum DMG equal to each enemy target hit, but their HP is consumed. Jade can choose herself as the target, but she won’t gain the SPD bonus nor will she consume her own HP when attacking.
Ultimate	Vow of the Deep	Deals Quantum DMG to all enemies and enhances the follow-up attack.
Talent	Fang of Flare Flaying	When allies (or Jade) under the effect of the Skill agreement attack enemies, Jade will get Charges. After gathering 8 charges, Jade will trigger a follow-up attack.
Technique	Visionary Predation	After using the Technique, inflicts enemies within a set area with Blind Fealty. Enemies inflicted with Blind Fealty will not attack allies. Deals damage to all enemies after entering the battle.

Upcoming Banners

Ruan Mei and Argenti banners will be rerun during the patch:

• Ruan Mei banner will be available during the first part, at the same time as Firefly’s banner,
• Argenti banner will be available during the second part, at the same time as Jade’s banner.

New 4-star Light Cone

After the Charmony Fall Light Cone will be available on Jade’s banner and it belongs to the Erudition Path. The effect is currently unknown.

Simulated Universe Update – Divergent Universe

A groundbreaking update to SU will be released. Here’s some information:

• Divergent Universe is a ‘DLC’ for Simulated Universe and it doesn’t replace it – you can still play both,
• The characters in Divergent Universe will be auto-leveled to the maximum available level (on your account) and equipped with temporary Relic Sets and Light Cones – so you can try them out without investing in them,
• You can combine various Blessings into Equations, activating additional bonuses,
• In addition to old Curious, Weighted Curious will be added that are tailored toward specific characters, strengthening them further,
• Gacha machines will be added that based on your luck can give you additional rewards during your runes,
• Path of Exile-like passive tree will be available in DU that gives tons of passive bonuses to make the runs easier,
• The Planar Ornaments Extraction feature has been added. It allows you to ‘save’ your runs with all blessings you managed to gather and you just need to defeat the final boss to obtain the Relics, without the need to do a full run,
• Similar to normal SU, the Divergent version will have a weekly reward path too.
• A new 5-star Light Cone will be added to the Herta store – Eternal Calculus.
  • The Light Cone belongs to the Erudition path.

New endgame mode – Apocalyptic Shadow

This is a new endgame mode that will cycle with Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction, but this mode focuses on fighting Bosses, so it will favor single-target characters.

The new phase ‘order’ for the endgame modes will look like that now:

• Apocalyptic Shadow > Pure Fiction > Memory of Chaos > Apocalyptic Shadow

Every 2 weeks on Monday, a new phase will start.

Other improvements:

• Xueyi will be a reward for clearing Apocalyptic Shadow for the first time.
• The reward for clearing any of the endgame phases of the phases fully increases from 720 Stellar Jades to 800.

New Relic Sets

Two new Planar Ornaments will be added to the game:

• Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves
• Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern

Sadly, we don’t know what the sets do yet.

Two new Cavern Relics will be added to the game:

• Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge
• The Wind-Soaring Valorous

Upcoming 2.4 content

We also got some ‘spoilers’ for the future content after Penacony. It seems that we’re going back to Xianxou! Here are all the characters that were revealed:

Other updates

• New Trailblaze main story mission will be released – Farewell, Penacony,
• A new area will be added:
  • Radiant Feldspar
• The usual 10 free pulls login even will be available,
• Harmony specialization for the Trailblazer can now be unlocked in Belabog. The moment you unlock the Preservation specialization, you can also unlock the Harmony one. This allows you to play them early without clearing Penacony.
