Wuthering Waves release stream summary!

While the Global official stream is yet to air, both the CN and JPN streams just finished. Here’s a summary of what happened there.

New trailer

A brand new trailer, showcasing never seen before animations and characters dropped during the stream:

Pre-load

The pre-load start has been revealed and it’s set to 21.05.2024, 18:00 (GMT+8). Here’s a timer to the date:

Release

The release hour also has been revealed and it’s set to 23.05.2024, 10:00 (GMT+8). Here’s a timer to the date:

Limited Banners – Patch 1.0

Similar to the CBT2, Jiyan, and Yinlin will be the limited banners during the 1.0 patch!

Jiyan

Jiyan banner will last from 23.05 to 13.06.

Yinlin

Yinlin banner will last from 13.06 to 04.07.

Selector Banner

On top of the 50-pull discounted banner where you obtain a random 5-star standard character, another newbie banner has been announced! You can select any 5-star standard character and you will obtain it within 80 pulls! It wasn’t fully confirmed but this banner should use the standard tickets, same as the standard banner. Here are some pictures:

So this means that you can get two 5-star characters within 120 pulls – one random and one of your choice! Not sure how long it will take to gather enough pulls to do it, but the games usually throw a lot of standard tickets at you on the release.

Additional Rewards

On top of the 20 Standard banner tickets that we will receive from the pre-register rewards, another 20 tickets will arrive in our in-game email somewhere after the launch. The other events mentioning Sanhua and Yuawu are already described in our event guide.

And the mail with the tickets will contain 10 Standard Tickets and 10 Rate-up Tickets!
