NIKKE x Re: Zero collab – early impressions of Emilia and Rem
Foreword
The information found in this guide is based on theorycrafting the kit + revealed gameplay video. We need to test the characters first once they are released and then we will add a full review to the website. So take the information here with a grain of salt.
Emilia
Is she good?
Emilia’s skills are out, and at first glance, she seems weaker than the current meta B3s. We are currently waiting to see how her skill 2 will work, and until then we can’t make a huge claim.
The way her skill 2 works will define her usability. The copium for now is: if Skill 2 works by giving 58.99% of the collective damage dealt to each unit separately, she will prove to be a super strong screen clearer in both campaign style stages and, especially, in PvP. Her main use might just be in PvP as a nuker.
PVP
Regardless of how her skill 2 exactly works, Emilia will probably have higher burst gen than normal RLs due to the extra damage skill 2 will provide. Depending on how her skill 2 works, she will either be really strong for PvP, or she will be just decent for high synchro level players. Even in the worst-case scenario, she will be a strong choice for early and mid-game players, but after synchro level 261, she will start falling off.
Raids
Again, this depends on how her skill 2 works. She can possibly be super strong against bosses with multiple parts. Not only this, but she can possibly be a super strong option against bosses with adds!
Campaign
If her skill 2 works as described above, she’s easily one of the best units to push campaign with. She will still not match Red Hood or Modernia in campaign, but she will be a solid substitute if you dont have them.
Final Words
Overall, she’s a solid unit, just nothing amazing. But her skill 2 can quite possibly make her jump from being barely usable to meta in some game modes. For that, we await her release to test her for you!

Rem
Is she good?
Rem brings out her demon form in Nikke for sure… She has everything. DPS? Yeap. Heals? Yeap. Buffs? Yeap again. She simply brings too much to the table and has absolutely amazing values on everything. We believe that Rem is probably looking like a must-have unit!
Here’s how we think she will perform in various modes:
Raids
In Solo Raid, she 200% replaces and downgrades Marciana. She is just better than Marciana. In Union Raids, Rem is possibly one of the top picks against Water element’s weak bosses. Do not underestimate MGs in this game, they scale like crazy with Max Ammo Ol gear. She had the DPS of Guillotine without any drawbacks of “having low hp”. Instead, she heals. Not just herself, but all her allies! Not only does she heal, but she also buffs any RLs present in your team!
Campaign
If you use rocket launchers in the campaign, she can buff them extremely well, while assisting with her DPS and heals. She is not better than the 2 duos (Tia-Naga and Blanc-Noir), but she is a good B2 to use if you don’t have them.
PVP
MGs are not ideal for PvP use unless they are Rosanna.
Final Words
Rem is an absolute beast of a unit. We believe she will rock the meta in terms of bossing, and will definitely see use in high-level gameplay in solo raids and union raids.
