Jing Yuan will be released in Honkai: Star Rail on the 17th of May. If you’re planning to pull Jing AND use him on the same day without struggling to farm the resources, here’s what you need to prepare!
Considering where the majority of the player base sits now (or rather will sit in a week), you will find two sets of data in this guide – one for the level 60 character cap and the other for the level 70 character cap.
Leveling
Obviously, the first thing you will need to do is to level Jing Yuan so here’s what you need to prepare to level and ascend him from level 1 to 60 (70).
Level 1-60

Skills
At level 60 cap, you can level your skills up to level 6 (level 4 for Basic). The table below shows the summary to upgrade all of them from level 1 – so if you decide to skip a skill, you will need to prepare fewer mats, but honestly, the only skill you could consider skipping is the Basic one.

I get what he meant. They can release what they know about even thou it is not accurate as long as they put a disclaimer “subjected to change” or grey it out or something along the line. So at least we will have a rough idea on what to get
